Her understanding of public relations and interpersonal and mass communications allow her to effectively communicate project messages.  In addition to her excellent verbal and written skills, she is familiar with the political process.

As a Project Manager for public involvement and community outreach, she was responsible for managing public involvement activities for two major Arizona Department of Transportation freeway projects and Phoenix Sky Harbor International’s Voluntary Land Acquisition Program.

Sonya’s organizational skills and ability to strategize and multitask coupled with her ability to build relationships and establish lines of communication with critical project stakeholders has led to meaningful public involvement and input in large public and private projects.
