Peggy Rubach

For several years, Peggy worked on the public involvement side of the light rail transit studies.  As Special Assistant to the Director at the Arizona Department of Transportation, she led their efforts in right of way reforms and alternative funding.

The former two-term Mayor of Mesa, Peggy has an MPA from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard and attended ASU College of Law.  She holds a BA in Psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

Peggy has three children and four grandchildren. Travel, reading and politics (as a volunteer) are among her many interests.
