Ann Wallack
Ann’s community involvement includes a 25 year history of volunteer work with the Fiesta Bowl, serving as Chair of Game Operations for both the Fiesta Bowl and the Insight Bowl, the Hole-in-One Tournament and the Fiesta Bowl Ball. In 2002, she chaired the Fiesta Bowl Committee, which raised $4 million and hosted the BCS National Championship. She recently completed a 3 year term as a member of the Fiesta Bowl Board of Directors.
As a strong supporter of public education Ann has served as a parent volunteer in her sons’ classrooms, as president of the local Association of Parents and Teachers at Cherokee Elementary, and as President of the Scottsdale Parent Council.
She is active in the Democratic Party and is currently Chair of the Maricopa County Democratic Party, a board member of the Nucleus Club and was a candidate for State Senate in District 11 in 2006 and 2008. She currently serves as a Board Member of Valley Citizen’s League, a bi-partisan, issues-based group.
Ann and Rob have a son who graduated from the University of Michigan and another at Arizona State University. Born in Wisconsin and raised in Minnesota, Ann attended the University of Minnesota and then transferred to California State University, Long Beach. Her interests include running, hiking, skiing, reading and playing the piano.
